I was looking for a new personal trainer and I picked Mike Koger because I had observed him with other clients. He was always very attentive to his clients and moved with a purpose, whether with a client or not. This has been my experience with him over the past year. Mike introduced me to a wide variety of movements that increased my flexibility and muscle mass. He helped me understand how to make my cardio sessions more effective by utilizing high intensity interval training and metabolic condition. In the past I had mainly done steady state cardio to reduce fat. Mike made it a point to continuously track my progress and always shared strength improvements with me. The main thing he did was focus on compound movements with progressive overload.  This approach helped to build my muscle mass, increase my metabolism and reduce my body fat.. He helped me understand how to make my cardio sessions more effective by utilizing high intensity interval training and metabolic condition whereas in the past I had mainly done steady state cardio to reduce fat.
